In this study, we identified new fusion genes that can provide prognostic information because they involve important gene transcription factors with an essential role in lymphoid differentiation: these are CREBBP, IKZF1, and ETV6. Additionally, it has been reported that the mutations and deletions of these genes were related to prognosis in ALL children (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CREBBP and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
