Both miR‐22 and miR‐516b are identified as tumour‐suppressive miRNAs38, 39, 40, 41 or oncogenic miRNAs.42, 43 These studies suggested the multifunctional roles of miRNAs in the pathogenesis.42 In the present study, the facts that both lncRNA MFI2‐AS1 and MYCBP were up‐regulated in CRC tumour tissues when compared with adjacent non‐tumour tissues might reveal the oncogenic roles of lncRNA MFI2‐AS1 and MYCBP in CRC pathogenesis and development. Here, MYCBP is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
