Since GATA1 and Bcl-XL are both involved in gemcitabine resistance of pancreatic cancer cells, and Bcl-XL is a target gene of GATA1, we tested whether GATA1 promotes gemcitabine resistance through regulating Bcl-XL level with cell viability assay and colony formation assay. This evidence concerns the gene GATA1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
