Our transcriptomic analysis showed that loss of SIRT2 in both P/VG and metastatic melanoma cell lines was associated with decreased expression of EGFR and EPHA2, receptors that are important for the development, proliferation and acquisition of multidrug resistance by melanoma cells [68,81,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90]. This evidence concerns the gene SIRT2 and metastatic melanoma.
