The inhibitory effects of Rh2 against the growth of glioblastoma and hepatocellular carcinoma in vitro and in vivo in a mouse model have been outlined [89,90]; these effects were associated with a significant increase in apoptosis induction and decrease in proliferation of tumor cell through the inhibition of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is glioblastoma.
