The inhibitory effects of Rh2 against the growth of glioblastoma and hepatocellular carcinoma in vitro and in vivo in a mouse model have been outlined [89,90]; these effects were associated with a significant increase in apoptosis induction and decrease in proliferation of tumor cell through the inhibition of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and hepatocellular carcinoma.
