SELENBP1 and infection: DM(26/51; 51%)[Adjusted OR: 2.37 (95%CI: 1.19–4.74), p = 0.014], septicemic melioidosis(32/51; 63%)[Adjusted OR: 2.74 (95%CI: 1.31–5.85), p = 0.007] and infection due to B. pseudomallei LPSB genotype (46/51; 90.1%) [Adjusted OR: 4.47 (95%CI: 1.16–12.20), p = 0.003] were independent risk factors for mortality in our study population.
