KRAS and hepatoblastoma: We did not observe any significant association between hepatoblastoma risk and polymorphisms at NRAS and KRAS. On the contrary, we found that subjects carrying the genotypes rs12587 TT, rs7973450 AG/GG, and rs7312175 GA/AA, alone or in combination, have a marginally lower risk of hepatoblastoma that is not statistically significant (adjusted odds ratio [OR] = 0.91; 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.67–1.25; P = 0.561), even though these genotypes are considered to indicate cancer risk.
