At 10 mg kg−1, TAK‐137 significantly inhibited METH‐induced hyperlocomotion in rats to 33.6 ± 7.66% of that in the control (Figure 1A and B); however, the percentage of inhibition was lower than that of antipsychotics, which exhibited greater than 50% inhibition under the 60% occupancy of D2R.26, 55 TAK‐137 may therefore have limited efficacy against the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. Here, DRD2 is linked to schizophrenia.
