Significantly elevated cytokines in tear fluid (IL-1ra, IL-2, IL-4, IL-17A, IFN-γ, MIP-1b, Rantes, IL-8, IL-12p70, and IP-10) and saliva (IP-10 and MIP-1a) in pSS patients, when compared to healthy controls, were included in the correlation analyses. This evidence concerns the gene CCL3 and peeling skin syndrome.
