In accordance with our results, a negative impact on patient prognosis of TRPV2 expression levels, and, in particular, a positive correlation with tumor stage, were reported in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) [39], hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [40], urothelial carcinoma (UC) [41], and prostate cancer (PC) [42].
