At presentation, tumours with a mutation in FGFR3 or AKT1 were five‐times less likely to be muscle‐invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) than tumours wild type for both genes (7% vs 38%); TP53‐mutated tumours were three‐times more likely to be MIBC than wild type TP53 tumours (46% vs 15%). The gene discussed is AKT1; the disease is neoplasm.
