Patients with AMN exhibited significantly higher plasma levels of the lipid mediators of inflammation, 12S-HETE, 15S-HETE, and TXB2, as well as the cytokines and inflammation-related proteins, IL-6, TNF, IL-8, HGF, and MCP1, and lower levels of the protective protein adiponectin.
