Luciferase activity was significantly reduced 24 h after the co-transfection of endometrial cancer cell lines with pLightSwitch_3′UTR reporter vector containing the 3′UTR sequence of SESN2 gene and miR-141 mimic only in KLE and RL 95-2 cells proving efficient and stable binding to the predicted microRNA target, while no significant difference was observed for miR-200a in both the analyzed cell lines (Fig. 2b3, 4). Here, SESN2 is linked to endometrial cancer.
