Comparative analysis confirmed that higher levels of IL-33 were associated with significantly lower CCL7 in individuals with normoglycemia (P = 0.02; median 16.7, n = 10 vs. median 118.8, n = 9) but not in those with prediabetes or T2D (Figures 6(a) and 6(b)). This evidence concerns the gene IL33 and prediabetes syndrome.
