These clusters summarized the characteristic pathways of AML, such as immune response [60, 61], synapse [62], anchored component of membrane (e.g., CD48, CD56) [63, 64], neuropeptide [65, 66], tyrosine kinase [67], developmental [68, 69], blood pressure regulation [70, 71], cyclic nucleotide [72, 73], voltage-gated ion channels [74, 75] and phospholipase C [76] (Fig. 6a). This evidence concerns the gene NCAM1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
