(2018) were able to demonstrate that the amount of PD-L1 expressed on tumor-derived exosomes was a predictor for response to anti-PD-L1 therapy [91], whereby responders had lower baseline levels of PD-L1 expressed on exosomes, and after 3–6 weeks of treatment the expression was more pronounced for responders [91].
