All outcomes were examined for potential predisposing or contributing factors as maternal age, parity, marital status, obesity, weight gain, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) level during the three trimesters of pregnancy and where applicable, daily doses of long- and short-acting insulin at gestational week 26–28 and at delivery. This evidence concerns the gene INS and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
