These results are in accordance with the ones obtained by Huang et al. [76] that reported hepatoprotective potential of isoquercitrin (5) (10 and 30 mg/kg b.w. per day) against type 2 diabetes-induced hepatic injury in rats after 21 days of treatment with significant suppression of DPP-IV mRNA level expression. Here, DPP4 is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
