There are reports that elevated CRP level during myocardial infarction is associated with myocardial damage and consequent elevated IL-6 level rather than pre-existing inflammation.[4, 6, 58] We also intended to find changes in miRNAs in CRP-deposited damaged myocardium by injecting serum CRP after infarction. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and myocardial infarction.
