In contrast, CRC patients with above-median (> 5.1%, N = 24) percentage of inhibitory receptor CD158a+ NKT-like cells showed a trend towards shorter DFS compared to patients with below-median (N = 25) percentage (P = 0.068) (Fig. 3d) with a HR of 1.969 (95% CI 0.937–4.136, P = 0.074). This evidence concerns the gene KIR2DL1 and colorectal carcinoma.
