As shown in Figure 8, the BPH-induced mice group showed higher expression of E2F1, Rb and cyclin D1 as compared to the control mice, and the increased expression of these cell cycle-associated proteins was rescued by finasteride, HBX-5 (200 mg/kg), HBX-6 (100 mg/kg), or HBX-6 (200 mg/kg) treatments. Here, RB1 is linked to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
