YAP1 and ovarian cancer: More broadly, high YAP and/or TAZ expression and/or aberrant nuclear localization are correlated with poor prognosis in many cancers, such as pancreatic adenocarcinoma, endometrial carcinoma, melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, Kaposi's sarcoma, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, ovarian cancer, urothelial carcinoma of the bladder, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (Zanconato et al., 2016a, 2016b).
