In breast cancer KLF4 has been reported to have an important role in oncogenesis, as well as in the maintenance of trunk type characteristics, it has also been reported as a promoter of cell invasion migration [11] While in pre-B cells, an important participation in the regulation of the cell cycle has been established, overexpression of KLF4 can induce arrest of the cell cycle and apoptosis [12]. Here, KLF4 is linked to breast carcinoma.
