Four CpG sites located nearest the genes CTNNA2, GRB10, RPH3AL, and TINCR showed individual associations with breast cancer risk in a multivariable model (P < 0.05, Additional file 2: Table S6) and were also associated with breast cancer risk in matched case-control pairs in EPIC-Italy (dataset 2). Here, CTNNA2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
