Several studies have identified relationships between the survival of breast cancer patients and the hub genes in the network: specifically the GNAS complex locus (GNAS), growth factor receptor bound protein 2 (GRB2), follicle stimulating Hormone Subunit Beta (FSHB), Cholinergic Receptor Muscarinic 1 (CHRM1), SOS Ras/Rac Guanine Nucleotide Exchange Factor 1 (SOS1), Nuclear Factor Kappa B Subunit 1 (NFKB1), and the BCL2 Apoptosis Regulator (BCL2). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and breast carcinoma.
