We showed that treatment with NF-κB inhibitor BAY 11-7082 dramatically downregulated GPX1 expression, promoted AKT phosphorylation activation, increased intracellular ROS production when cells were challenged with cisplatin, and enhanced cisplatin sensitivity in A549 and H1975 NSCLC cells. Here, NFKB1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
