Given the anti-inflammatory role of PPAR-γ and CB2-R in colon cancer and their involvement with AA and EPA function, we wanted to evaluate the levels of mRNA and protein of PPAR-γ and CB2-R in CRC patients with and without metastases, both in non-tumor adjacent mucosa and in tumor tissue (Figure 4 and Figure 5, respectively). The gene discussed is PPARG; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
