FUS and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: This rearrangement is reported in Ph-like acute lymphoblastic leukemia subtype, a particularly aggressive subtype.30 The molecular profiling has changed the diagnosis for patient 73, who initially received a Ewing-like sarcoma diagnosis on the basis of histologic appearance and immunohistochemistry, but the EWSR1 (2130) and FUS (2521)–derived fusions were not detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis.
