In our patient population, we observed a high prevalence of hyponatremia (24.6% of patients, glucose-corrected sodium), frequent hypokalemia and albumin-corrected hypercalcemia (8.6% and 10.9%, respectively), and lower prevalence of hypernatremia, hyperkalemia, and albumin-corrected hypocalcemia (1.7%, 3.3%, and 1.6%, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and Hyponatremia.
