In the comparison between SAMS patients and the control group, we observed a significant difference (P < 0.05) in BUN, fasting blood glucose, and triglycerides and a highly significant difference in total cholesterol, creatinine, CPK, CRP, and 25OH-vitamin D serum levels (P < 0.0001) (Tables 2 and 3). Here, CRP is linked to short stature-auditory canal atresia-mandibular hypoplasia-skeletal anomalies syndrome.
