CXCL8 and leprosy: Accordingly, the ML2044-induced 3-host marker combination model classified 24 of the 26 participants (92.31%) in the correct clinical groups, with 85.71% sensitivity, which was lower than the sensitivity of ML2044-induced IL-8 as a single marker (100%), but the specificity of diagnosis for PB leprosy patients increased from 73.68% to 94.74%.
