In our present study, we reported that the higher HHLA2 expression could be found in human ccRCC tissues, both at the mRNA level from the TCGA data and at the protein level from the immunohistochemistry results, indicating that HHLA2 might be a novel immunosuppressive mechanism within the tumor microenvironment of human ccRCC. The gene discussed is HHLA2; the disease is nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
