CXCL9 and prostate cancer: None of the chemokines examined showed any significant difference in their baseline levels although monokine induced by gamma interferon/C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 9 (MIG)/CXCL9 (interferon-γ (IFNγ)-induced chemokine), recently reported to have T cell inhibitory effects in prostate cancer [13], showed higher average baseline levels in the treatment-resistant patients at 83.81 pg/mL compared to the treatment-sensitive group at 49.09 pg/mL (p = 0.051, Figure 1A).
