Therefore, we measured the protein markers of five OXPHOS complexes by using a specific antibody cocktail against the following proteins: NDUFB8 (NADH dehydrogenase 1 beta subcomplex subunit 8) for complex I, SDHB (succinate dehydrogenase) for complex II, cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (MTCO1) for complex IV, UQCRC2 (ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex 2) for complex III, and ATP5A (ATP synthase α subunit) for complex V.
