Using tumor-primed CD8+ T cells derived from a second donor and primed with either irradiated SUDHL10 or Raji cells, primed T cells showed increased TIM-3 and PD-1 expression compared to resting/unprimed CD8+ T cells, as determined by flow cytometry (Figure 3D), suggesting activation of immune checkpoints in these T cells.
