In contrast, cross-sectionally, the temporal, parietal and occipital regions presented the highest levels of tau deposition relative to cognitively unimpaired, at both baseline and follow-up, similarly to what other cross-sectional studies have reported for atypical AD (Cho et al., 2017; Scholl et al., 2017; Tetzloff et al., 2018).
