Analysis of the percentage of T-lymphocytes (CD3+) expressing CD18+ in patients with INS revealed significantly lower percentages of this marker in SS (7.0 ± 0.8% vs. 15.2 ± 5.1% in control group, p = 0.025) and in SR patients (7.6 ± 1.4% vs. 15.2 ± 5.1% in control group, p = 0.01) in comparison to controls (Figure 3A).
