Interestingly, similar to the severity observed during the clinical observation, DBN1 plasma levels were the highest in POAG (1.370 ± 0.412 ng/mL) and increased significantly in PACG (0.721 ± 0.160 ng/mL) patients compared with controls (0.003 ± 0.002 ng/mL) as well as PS (0.003 ± 0.002 ng/mL) (Figure 2A). Here, DBN1 is linked to open-angle glaucoma.
