These results were then validated in 14,586 cancer patients in TCGA and ICGC human cancer cohorts, and patients with high expression levels of EGOT showed favorable OS and RFS in both of 33 human cancer types and breast cancer cohorts (Fig. 6c and d; Additional file 2: Figure S7b and c), while patients with high ITPR1 expression showed favorable OS in the human cancer cohort (Additional file 2: Figure S7d and e). This evidence concerns the gene EGOT and breast cancer.
