Genetic and epigenetic changes of negative regulators of JAK/STAT signaling, such as loss of function, SOCS1 mutations, and deletions of the protein tyrosine phosphatase 2 (PTPN2), may also cause deregulated JAK/STAT initiation in Hodgkin lymphoma, primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and Peripheral T-cell lymphoma (13). Here, SOCS1 is linked to follicular lymphoma.
