Since our present findings associate cytoplasmic p27 localization with the metastatic potential of osteosarcoma cells, we evaluated the mRNA levels of the set of metastatic markers, VIM, SNA2, CDH2, CTNNB1 and STMN1 (Fig. 1d) following XPO1 inhibition and AZD1775 exposure, by RT-qPCR. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN1B and osteosarcoma.
