In summary, as illustrated in Fig. 5, CK2 inhibition was able to suppress the phosphorylation of p65, then reduced the increase of IL-8 and IL-6 in endothelial cells after exposure to IR, which destroyed the forming of the perivascular resistance niche (PVRN) and finally led to radiosensitize lung cancer cells. Here, IL6 is linked to lung carcinoma.
