Results revealed CEP55 to be hypomethylated in 97.3% of CRC cases and FOXD3, FOXF2, GNAO1, GRIA4 and KCNA5 being hypermethylated in 100, 90.2, 100, 97.3 and 99.1% of CRC cases, respectively. The gene discussed is GRIA4; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
