miR-204 might also inhibit STAT3 and favor the MAPK signaling pathway in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma progression [29]; miR-708-3p was found to inhibit breast cancer cell epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by directly binding to ZEB1 [30] which was also the downstream gene of MAPK/ERK pathway [31]; miR-1298 was also found to inhibit mutant KRAS-driven tumor growth [32].
