Specifically, we establish that (1) GSK-3 regulates vimentin dynamics, (2) GSK-3 interacts with and phosphorylates vimentin, (3) vimentin facilitates GBM cell migration, and (4) vimentin is highly expressed in GBM patient specimens, and is prognostic, particularly in lower grade gliomas.
