The present study uses serum samples of Landscape and popgen Biobank [6] as well as samples collected at the Department of Neurology, Kiel University to address three questions: (I) Are IgA/IgM NMDAab associated with PD?; (II) Does the frequency of NMDAab of the IgA/IgM classes differ between PD patients without cognitive impairment and those with cognitive impairment?; (III) Is IgA/IgM NMDAab antibody status correlated with differences in cognitive test results? The gene discussed is CD79A; the disease is Parkinson disease.
