In cases complicated with preeclampsia, both TLR9 and calprotectin were significantly increased across gestation (0.28 ± 0.02, 0.30 ± 0.02, 0.37 ± 0.02; P = 0.01) and (1318.69 ng/ml ± 87.95, 1233.77 ng/ml ± 68.45, 1946.55 ng/ml ± 145.84; P = 0.0001) respectively. The gene discussed is TLR9; the disease is preeclampsia.
