To date, three anti-EGFR mAbs, cetuximab (Erbitux®, Bristol-Myers Squibb/Merck KGaA), panitumumab (ABX-EGF/ Vectibix®, Amgen), and necitumumab (Portrazza®, Eli Lilly and Company, USA), are currently in widespread use in cancer treatment, most notably for CRC. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and colorectal carcinoma.
