In addition, the immunophenotypical investigation of our patient revealed that the infiltrating cells were CD4+, CD5+, CD30−, CD56− and Ki-67 index < 10%, which are different from the atypical lymphocytes in EATL and MEITL that are usually CD4− and CD5−, cytotoxic, and high proliferation index with distinct markers such as CD56 and CD30. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma.
