QSOX1 and hepatocellular carcinoma: As shown in Supplemental Fig. S8A, QSOX1 from the type I HCC tissues was found to be predominately at 83 kDa, whereas QSOX1 from the type II HCC tissues was shown to be almost entirely at 67 kDa, which suggests that perinuclear cytoplasmic staining represents the subcellular localization of the QSOX1-L isoform, and homogenous cytoplasm staining shows the primary subcellular localization of the QSOX1-S isoform.
